1. Controller

2. What data I process and why

2.1 Enquiries submitted through the contact form

Data: name, e-mail address, phone number. The form is not stored in the website database; it is delivered to my e-mail inbox (Google Gmail).

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an engagement. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention: 24 months from the last communication. If an engagement follows, data is kept as long as required by law (for example, accounting records).

2.2 Downloading the business valuation checklist

Data: name and e-mail address, stored in the website database.

Purpose: to send you the checklist and keep a record of the request. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the checkbox on the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by e-mail.

Retention: 24 months, after which the record is deleted automatically.

2.3 Website analytics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (through the Google Site Kit plugin) to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Without consent, no analytics cookies are stored.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Retention: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics (up to 14 months).

2.4 Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. When you visit the site, the server and its content delivery network process technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of request, to deliver the site and protect it against misuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.

3. Cookies

You can change your choice at any time: cookie settings.

4. Recipients

Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with service providers who process it on my behalf: Hostinger (hosting), Google (e-mail, analytics, fonts).

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to toomas.olev@gmail.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).
